Legal Film Downloads In Europe?

Amazon (US) has been offering downloadable films and tv series for the last few months, although they are not available to Irish consumers.
So what about Europeans?
We can access hardcore adult video streams without any issues, but what about “tamer” selections?
Earlier this evening DVD.it emailed me to let me know that they are now offering films from a mere €2.99. The selection isn’t exactly amazing, but it’s a good start.
The only downside is that you need to speak fluent Italian! 🙂
