I don’t have an SSIA.
For a variety of reasons I didn’t get one.
I might have thought that this was a bad thing, but now I’m thankful.
Why?
Anyone who does have an SSIA is being bombarded with “advice” on how to best use their “windfall”.
One of the Sunday papers ran a series of articles recently giving you plenty of options on how to spend, invest or use your SSIA money. When you combine this with all the other “advice” from the various financial institutions it becomes quite overwhelming.
It’s much simpler not having one 🙂
NOTE: For anyone who doesn’t know what an SSIA this site explains the concept quite well

Interesting justification. I don’t have one but i can’t say i have the same sentiment. Doh! if only.
