The .Irish Domain Is Now Available

Last Thursday afternoon, while the ICANN meeting was wrapping up in Buenos Aires, a historic moment was reached. At 5pm Irish time the .irish top level domain entered "general availability". Counting Down To .Irish Launch

In a few days time the .irish top level domain name will be available to the public. From June 25th they'll be open for registration on a "first come, first served" basis, though you can currently pre-order during landrush.
