Dublin Airport – Is There Any Hope For It?

July 20, 2008 by Michele Neylon 5 Comments

Dublin airport seems to be going from bad to worse.

First off they had serious issues with their radar which led to flight cancellations and general chaos.

Now they’re having power outages!

Cork airport suffers from fog quite often, while Shannon doesn’t have as many international destinations as the other two, so where does that leave us?

    Belfast?
We got two toy airports, one is supposed to be an International one!

    Fair point 🙂
The only reason I didn’t think of Belfast is because the other airports are all close to members of my family so they are viable for me to use at some level.

Never any weather problems in Duleek underground airport. Flooding can be an issue though.

To be honest, after what the government done to Shannon, and the economy of County Clare, I, for one, won’t shed a single tear for Dublin airport.

I read that the cause of the radar fault was a dodgy network card!! Come – on! Eek
