Donegal is the Destination for 2022’s Week Away

February 8, 2022 by Michele Neylon Leave a Comment

For the last couple of years I've been spending my holidays in Ireland. Last year was up around Mayo and Galway, while the year before was County Clare. For summer 2022 it's Donegal! It's an area of the country that I don't really know. Many many years ago (late 90s I think?) my girlfriend at the time was attending a course up there, so I visited for about a week. On the Hunt for Concerts and Other Fun Stuff

Tina Guo performing at World of Hans Zimmer in Madrid December 2019

When you're stuck at home most of the time it's hard not to start messing about with the … [Read more...] about Going Back on the Road Sort of

This time last year I was reflecting on a year of bouncing around the globe. I was remembering new experiences. I had fond memories of some lovely dinners with a wide variety of people. Some more special to me than others. So … [Read more...] about 2020 Travel Stats

Taking the Baby Weber on Holiday

July 26, 2020 by Michele Neylon 1 Comment

I've spent the last week on holiday in the west of Ireland. Overseas travel this year is simply not an option, so we decided months ago that we'd have a family holiday together somewhere in Ireland instead. So we ended up renting a house in Kilkee. One of the main reasons I got the Weber Smokey Joe, aka "the baby Weber", was for travel. It's small enough that you can … [Read more...] about Taking the Baby Weber on Holiday
