Feedback is open until November 9th.

On a sidenote, can anyone explain to me why they’re using environ.ie while environment.ie seems to go nowhere, even though it’s own by the state?

well, that’s obvious – by abbreviating, they are saving the environment the problem of dealing with the friction heat that typing those four letters would cause.

  2. It’s one of the oldest websites in the country, and I bet they kept it under EIGHT characters for reasons best known to dinosaur MS-DOS users. Same reason as the main State site is irlgov.ie, not government.ie?
