Whether there’s an “economic downturn” or not you’ll always find people who simply don’t “get” the concept of paying for stuff.
I mentioned this issue on Twitter earlier today and a couple of people sent me links to these absolutely hilarious videos. Apologies if the display is a bit odd – width may be a problem:
Of course if someone owes you money they really need to pay you .. Stewie’s take on this is .. well .. em .. violent?
And the followup …

Hilarious videos. And yet so true. Except the part about a baby beating the crap out of a talking dog. 🙂
Weird … uhm, that’s a rather kind way of putting it!
Michael – other words had sprung to mind, but this is a family friendly site 🙂 *cough*
We’ve found a hilarious trait with some of our customers.
If you send them a bill for, say, €362.29 including VAT, they pop a cheque in the post to you – months late – for €360.00.
I love being Irish.

The random payment amount trick is one some of our clients love as well .. It makes settling their accounts “interesting”

I really believe in customer service and working with clients to find a product/service/price point that suits them….but once the invoice is due then I expect to be paid. Late payment makes me mad.
One recent case of this forced me to write about it:
