It seems like only yesterday that I first spoke to the then CEO of the IIA, Irene Gahan, about sponsoring the IIA NetVisionary Awards 2005.
The event is on this Thursday evening in Clontarf Castle, Dublin.
I’m looking forward to the evening, as I’ll be spending it with a number of friends from the industry, plus I also hope to meet up with several people whose names are familiar, but whose faces aren’t.
One of the downsides to the online business is that you spend a hell of a lot of time dealing with people that you never actually meet, or only meet very rarely. In some cases this can be a very good thing, but it can also be a bit of a shocker to meet people in reality 🙂
So if you are going along to the “do” (I’ve always loved that expression) then let me know.
