So where on earth is ProdiJIG’s official website?
I could find their Facebook and Twitter accounts, but if they’ve got an official website I can’t find it 🙁
The show will be on at Cork’s Opera House in July. Details and booking on the Cork Opera House site.
Here’s the official spin:
ProdiJIG: The Revolution is a ground breaking new Irish Dance show, led by one of the most innovative choreographers and dancers in the world, Cork born Alan Kenefick. He will be joined on stage by 22 of the worlds best Irish dancers, leading Irish Dance in to a new era.
ProdiJIG: The Revolution is exactly as the title suggests – a revolution in dance. Alan Kenefick’s innovative, spectacular style is at the forefront of this evolution of Irish dance. It looks different, it sounds different, it feels different, and it speaks to a whole new generation of people.
Building on the traditions of the past, the show breathes new life into Irish Dance. It’s a sensational, exhilarating and breath-taking showcase of a tradition revitalised.
A tale of freedom through dance, the show’s creator Alan Kenefick says “ProdiJIG: The Revolution has been inspired by my life as a dancer including the highs and the lows, and a dream to make a change – to show the world that we as Irish dancers and as a culture are still evolving…This is our Revolution.”
