Gay Byrne’s Christmas Cake Recipe (Audio)

December 23, 2019 by Michele Neylon Leave a Comment

Gay Byrne passed away earlier this year, but his legacy will live on. While Gay Byrne will probably be remembered for many things, this audio clip of how to make a Christmas cake is one that I always find highly entertaining. It was originally broadcast on Irish radio, though I'm not sure when. It'll always bring a smile to my face hearing it. RIP Gay. … [Read more...] about Gay Byrne’s Christmas Cake Recipe (Audio)

2019 Travel Stats

This one really hit home and yes, you could easily redo it to cover a lot of vacuous political promises not just Brexit. What do you think of it? … [Read more...] about Brexit as a Burger

Le Grand Bleu (The Big Blue) directed by Luc Besson is one of those films that left a mark on me when I was growing up. I first saw it the year of its initial release (1988) in Paris on 70mm at the now defunct Kinopanorama. It's a visually stunning film, so being able to see it on the gigantic screen on 70mm made for a great experience, one that has stuck with me for more than … [Read more...] about Le Grand Bleu Cinema Concert Tour
