RedHat have released Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.
From what I’ve heard and seen this could be a really exciting release, as they have placed a lot of emphasis on virtualisation
Of course Centos has already started work on a 5.* release, with a beta currently available.
I’ll be interested to see what kind of things people can do with this new shiny toy 🙂

I’ve just installed CentOS 4.4 on /six/ servers. This /always/ happens to me.

If you are using Centos you should be able to upgrade without too much hassle once they’ve released a stable version, but I know how you feel 🙂
It kept happening to me with vbulletin as well

dahamsta,
Will you please install Debian Sarge on six servers now? I want Etch to be released 🙂
Niall.
dahamsta says
Nah just kidding, sure 4.4 will be supported for ages yet. Niall, I seem to remember installing Sarge on something about 15 years ago, does that count? 🙂
Niall says
dahamsta,
Would have been well ahead of the game at the time 🙂

Me and Mark Shuttleworth go way back. You know about his time machine, right? 🙂
