12 Months in Ireland

March 11, 2021 by Michele Neylon Leave a Comment

This week marks 12 months or 365 days of me being stuck in Ireland. No travel. No airports. No jet lag (there *is* an upside to this!). I got back from what was to be my last international trip on March 10th 2020. At the time I knew that things were getting bad in some parts of the world. but I did not expect to be sitting at home 12 months later in what has now become my … [Read more...] about 12 Months in Ireland

Revisiting an old Hobby

Earlier in the year, during the first lockdown, many people seem to have turned to baking. Sourdough and banana bread was everywhere! Personally I didn't … [Read more...] about A Few Resolutions for Lockdown 2.0

Catching up on Stuff I’ve Been Avoiding

April 26, 2020 by Michele Neylon Leave a Comment

One of the positive aspects of being stuck at home is that you find yourself doing things you normally wouldn't. For me that's meant a few things. I've been cooking a lot more than I would normally so I've been able to experiment with recipes I'd normally have avoided. So I've had a reasonable degree of success stuffing courgettes for example. Of course I've also had a … [Read more...] about Catching up on Stuff I’ve Been Avoiding
