Replacing My Macs

May 11, 2012 by Michele Neylon 1 Comment

For more than a month I've been working without a decent laptop or desktop at home. I've been using a rather old and slow iMac (a late 2006 model) which will only take 3 GB of RAM and has a rather annoying habit of swapping like mad and freezing several times per day. Feeling Violated

March 30, 2012 by Michele Neylon 8 Comments

I got home from work this evening and immediately noticed that something wasn't quite right. My laptop bag was sitting in the middle of the hall floor and I knew I hadn't left it there. At the time I hadn't had any major issues and was still in a "honeymoon period" with the new distro. Unfortunately that all changed the next morning. While the main machine at home, which I'm currently using, appears to not have any issues with the upgrade, it's a … [Read more...] about Apple OSX Lion Turns My Desktop Into An Expensive Paperweight

Sky Box Office. So if, like me, you don't have a phone line setup with your Sky box and you don't run Windows, your options are a bit limited. You can, however, watch Sky Box … [Read more...] about Sky Player On Mac – Quick Review
