I’ve been trying to get the new look search.ie online for the last couple of months in my spare time.
However, due to a number of factors, this has been dragged out for an inordinate length of time.
I decided to launch it this afternoon (soft launch 🙂 ) as quite a few people had been emailing me about link submissions.
There are probably bugs and issues, but I can deal with them as they arise

Good attempt, but I think the ads ruin it completely. It comes accross as a content replicator site just for the money. You need to add a high contrast bit of colour in somewhere.

Thanks for the feedback. The layout still needs to be tweaked, so I’ll be looking at that over the next while

My advice would be to remove the awkward thin border around the search logo (and if at all possible, get a better logo). The main nav bar is awfully blue now. I’d recommend changing it to the off-blue/de-saturated navy of the search logo. It’s too bright.
