Over the past few days we seem to have attracted a number of “charming” clients who must think we are mentally defective.
Some of the domains these people have ordered are hilarious. Due to privacy concerns I cannot give the exact domain names, but I can give you a flavour of them:
genericerrormessage.tld – presumably to mask the actual site’s content
bankname-group.com – the “bankname” being replaced by a real bank’s name. The funny thing is that the domain name probably should have been registered by the real bank in the first place.
I previously mentioned, jokingly, that I might sell off some of our more dubious fraudulent domains, but now we could almost offer a phishing starter pack 🙂
