Irish Rail is the national railway for Ireland. Their website should reflect that.
Unfortunately it doesn’t.
Spoiltchild has had a go at them this morning and rightly so.
Other national railways are able to have functional websites.
Why not Ireland?
Personally, I thing it looks a lot better. A lot less clutter and softer to look at.
If people are going to complain, then surely it should be about the service they provide and not a Web site?
But the website is part of the service and should be reflective of the level of service that they wish to present across the board.
I think it is ugly (personal taste i know), less usable and the information is crammed making it less readable.
I can see they are trying for an idea of simplicity but i am unsure whose idea of simplicity it is.
It’s better than it used to be, at least; it no longer assumes that you want to make all your journeys on the 1st of January! And technology marches on!

The last time i went to ireland i heard that the arrow diesel were taken to the scrap yard,why.I am the most angryest train fan ever.Please put the arrow diesels back on the lines.Take of the lines the new diesels that are stupid stupid stupid.So make new dart traines and thay better be ther when i get there
