Irish Blogs – More Enhancements – Aggregator Now Online

I spent a couple of hours this evening fixing some of the issues people had communicated to me after launching the new help / faq site for IrishBlogs.info

  1. Site descriptions on all blogs are now visible
  2. Random site of the moment is enabled
  3. Multiple blogs re-enabled

And the new feature for this evening is the aggregator
If you would like to add your blog’s feed please go to the subscriptions page
What makes it different? What makes it different?
Unlike POTB it gives the full text of the articles if your RSS feed includes them.
You can add yourself and it your feed should be picked up within an hour or so.

  1. sweet jeepers michele, do you never stop?
i guess those who make the internet entrepreneur of the year shortlist don’t 🙂 congrats on that!
thanks for setting this aggregator up. just a quick query – in the subscriptions list a few blogs (like mine :> ) seem to link to an old post rather than the main blog url – is that something dodgy in our feeds?

  2. Janine – thanks 🙂
I had a look at the feeds and yours is the only one that’s showing this issue. I’ll see if I can fix it from my end, but I’m not sure why it’s only affecting your blog

  3. don’t worry too much about fixing it for me. i’m not too bothered and i am trying to switch to wordpress at the moment so my feeds may go haywire anyway i suppose…
but ken guest in the list looks to have the same issue so i just thought it might be a more general bug??

    I fixed his just now
Yours seems to be related to your feed. I don’t know what is going on, but it looks like your feed isn’t providing the correct information
    Very odd

  5. well don’t worry about it. it doesn’t surprise me! i don’t know much about feeds or movable type in general so i never tinker with it…
