I love eggs. Hard boiled, poached, omelettes, fried .. however you prepare them I’ll probably enjoy eating them. Some egg dishes can be very complicated, but a simple poached egg on some nice bread or toast is full of flavour. Of course there are a multitude of ways to elevate even a simple dish, but while some techniques are stupidly time consuming they don’t have to be. This video demonstrates, in detail, three different techniques for doing egg on toast that go from the simple everyday (with a bit of extra finesse) through to the kind of dish that you’d only attempt when you had plenty of time or were really trying to impress someone. Personally I could see myself using the first two methods, but can’t really imagine myself going to all the trouble of the third one.
