Eric Serra has composed the soundtracks to most of Luc Besson's films since the 1980s. I was lucky enough to see him and his band perform Le Grand Bleu to picture in Paris a couple of years ago. Probably one of the top 10 most iconic scenes in 20th century cinema. Rutger Hauer plays an incredibly violent character in Ridley Scott's 1982 film "Blade Runner".
