I was meant to be getting a flight tomorrow morning to Brussels, but it has been cancelled due to a strike.
Fortunately I was able to rebook myself on a flight to Paris (CDG) where I’ll be able to pickup a TGV to Brussels.
More than a little annoying and it means I’ve had to cancel my lunch plans for tomorrow.
On the upside I get to spend a couple of hours on French soil, though CDG wouldn’t have been my location of preference…
Hopefully the rest of my trip won’t be eventful .. Fingers crossed .. Tempting fate …

Make sure to allow plenty of time to make the TGV to Brussels. Was on a flight to Paris a few weeks back which was diverted to Brussels due to thunder storms and baggage reclaim took hours as all flights were diverted.
Mightn’t affect you as much in this scenario, but keep in mind. Depending on which TGV ticket you purchase, you are sometimes allowed to take a later train if you don’t make your booking.
Enjoy the trip 🙂

I made sure there was plenty of time, as I know CDG can be a bit of a mess at times.
Of course if they’d re-routed me to Brussels I wouldn’t have been complaining 🙂
Thanks
