Adsense – invite a friend

I just noticed the “invite a friend” option in my adsense account this morning. The only thing is that there is no incentive for me to do it, which is a pity.
Most other programs offer some kind of incentive, be it a onetime commission or a recurring payment. Why doesn’t Google?
