michele, registered (why the need for that), confirmed using email but can’t get in. good tool that i’ve used before but i’m not sure of the value of adding forums etc to it. aren’t there plenty of other outlets such as boards that already cater for that? anyway, moot point as i can’t currently get in to have a look.
John
I’ve resent you your password details – let me know if you still can’t login
The registration is required so that we can give you test result histories and other features
Regarding the forum – it’s been there for two years, so it’s not exactly a new feature 🙂
Michele
Looks good, Michele. But why the login a necessary feature rather than an optional one? It’s a bit off-putting for somebody who’s just using it for a one-shot test.
Keith – we require the login so that we can store the test results for users and graph them etc.,
We may rethink this, but judging on our web stats over the last 9 months the vast majority of users come back more than once and registration only takes a minute.
Michele – nice job. One niggle – after login there is no quick link back to the test nor any navigation advide how to get there. I had to resort ot URL editing – not a problem for me but not so good for non-techies.
It’s right after you login to the forum for the first time – you get all the forum navigation stuff at the top, but no easy link back to the broadband test page.

Looking slick.

Richard – don’t you have the link in the navigation menu? Which page did you end up on?
Adding a link should be easy 🙂

Fair point. I’ll see if I can bludgeon something into the navigation bar
