Luc Besson has been involved in a lot of quirky films over the past 30 or so years. Some of those films are just plain awful, while others are fun if not a little flawed.
The Dancer starring Mia Frye is quirky but fun. I rewatched it last night for the first time in several years and while some of the technology in the film has definitely aged, the underlying story and other parts of it have held up pretty well.

According to Just Watch the film is available to stream on most of the major video services. I’ve still got a physical DVD!
