Eircode vs UK Postcodes

July 21, 2015 by Michele Neylon 4 Comments

Eircode has launched as Ireland's official postcode system.. A LOT has been written about the issues with how it's been rolled out, including some rather "impressive" faux pas like sending Eircodes to dead people .. However one of the things that I was curious about was the lookup system. The Eircode website offers a lookup service, but it has a limit - you can only do … [Read more...] about Eircode vs UK Postcodes

In simpler words - from that moment onwards anyone, anywhere can now register a .irish domain name. This is cool. It's something that I've been looking forward to for several … [Read more...] about The .Irish Domain Is Now Available

Counting Down To .Irish Launch

June 14, 2015 by Michele Neylon Leave a Comment

In a few days time the .irish top level domain name will be available to the public. From June 25th they'll be open for registration on a "first come, first served" basis, though you can currently pre-order during landrush. It's going to be interesting to see who registers one and how they end up using it. We're currently running print ads in some of the Irish media - … [Read more...] about Counting Down To .Irish Launch
