Byrne’s been running through all the “gotchas” and new features that users upgrading to MT 4 could face.

MovableType Upgrade Event
I recently upgraded my blog to MT4, converted all of the templates to the new MT4 templates and documented what I did to accomplish. Upgrading is easy, converting the templates is a little more challenging, so I wrote a How-To covering the basic process. Handy post. I’ll need to get our company blog upgraded at some point, so it will be a handy reference.
In the meantime I’m working on migrating the rest of my sites across to MT without breaking too many backlinks 🙂
The latest beta release should address the issues for those moving from WP.
