Dracula – Stoker and Coppolla

I finally got my DVD of Coppolla’s Dracula back. I’d lent it out to Ashley about 3 years ago!
I’d forgotten how dark a film it was, though I must admit that some of the cast were a little weak. Keanu Reeves’ accent really grates on me, but Winona Ryder et al more than make up for it

Of course, to truly appreciate the film you should read the book:

When I was about 18 I worked my way through most of Stoker’s writings (or at least those I could get my hands on)… ah the memories!
