Post BarCamp Blues?

I was at BarCamp on Saturday. I would have said I was there "all day", but I was called away for a few hours by my mother, who had managed to get a puncture and needed rescuing (that adventure maybe worthy of it's own blog post!). Avoiding Fermoy?

The drive from Carlow to Cork should be a lot more pleasant as of tomorrow when the new M8 Rathcormac-Fermoy Bypass is opened to the public. Last night when I was driving back from Cork I got held up for a good forty minutes at Fermoy, so being able to avoid the town completely is going to be worth the cost involved (€1.60). EDIT: Woops! Anonymous Mailing Lists Aren’t Good

I'm on a large number of mailing lists that cover a wide range of topics including open source software, web technologies, spam filtering, dns, networking and a range of other topics. Nearly all of the lists show who the message poster is and allow them to include their own email signature. Only very rarely does any of the list content get "out of hand".
