My mother emailed me earlier today to ask if I was going down to Cork to vote. It seems that I have a vote in both Cork and Carlow. I will vote in one place only, though I haven't decided which yet. Thank God I don’t have an SSIA!
I don't have an SSIA. For a variety of reasons I didn't get one. I might have thought that this was a bad thing, but now I'm thankful. Why? Anyone who does have an SSIA is being bombarded with "advice" on how to best use their "windfall". I'm sitting in Dublin airport waiting to board a flight to Madrid before heading on to Lisbon. I seem to be cursed!
