Bourne Ultimatum Out This Week

August 13, 2007 by Michele Neylon 7 Comments

I’ve been looking forward to the release of The Bourne Ultimatum for some time and judging by other people’s comments I am not alone!
It went on general release in the US last week and has so far done very well.
It’s officially released in Ireland this Friday and I can’t wait!

Bourne is a very decent series alright. I only get into them recently. Are there four in total or is this the finale?

Saw it last week. Well worth the view. Might actually be the best of the lot.

See my flag? Well it started here last Thursday 😀
I thought it was a great flick. Some excellent camera work, and action/chase scenes to beat the band.
    Rgds (from Thailand!)

There are four books in total as far as I know, so it would seem logical to have a forth but I think they only filmed a single movie this time around, they didn’t take the opportunity to batch film two movies ala Matrix/LoTR.
    Richard,
I hope you didn’t have to endure subtitles during an action movie. I tried that before, can’t remember which movie it was, but I was wrecked from reading and concentrating on action sequences. There was too much movement on the screen.

Cormac – the 4th book wasn’t written by Ludlum and appeared 3 years after his death in 2001.

I love the last scene from “Bourne Supremacy” when Jason says: Get some rest, Pam. You look tired.
    I can’t wait to watch Ultimatum… :]
