For the last week or so I’ve been playing Battlefield 2 online.
I would never describe myself as a gamer, but since I upgraded my grapics card to an NVidia GeForce 6600 I’ve been able to really appreciate the quality of the graphics etc.,
And boy is it addictive!
So who else plays?

I don’t play it myself because I’m only on ISDN, but I know that there are lots of Irish players, although not much of an Irish community. You might see the clan tag TIG around – thats The Irish Guard.

Yeah I play it. There’s some hardcore punters who are seriously good at it but I’m an amatuer at best. 🙂

Ohhh yeah – used to play a lot when BF2 first came out. BF 2142 seems pretty cool too.
Is that a PIC-Express card or an AGP you got?

AGP. My motherboard doens’t have PCI express 🙂
Once I’ve upgraded all the onboard components I may upgrade the motherboard itself ….

It’s still incredibly popular.
If I was going to buy a copy now I’d get the bumper edition which has bf2 and a couple of the expansion packs.
