Seems like AIB is offline this morning. Kind of annoying as I needed to check some transactions on my personal account ….
I was able to get logged in just after reading your post, so maybe it’s fixed now.
BUT…
AIB online banking isn’t available 24 hours a day. I had a bit of a panic back in March, when an improperly cancelled transaction in Osaka (I was buying a gift for my girlfriend, and went to add something to the transaction) led to a security block going on my card. I tried to get onto the online banking, or to skype into the automated system (the net cafe I was in had no mics, so I could use the IVR but not ring) to check my balance, but was unable to log in to either.
A few worried emails later, and an AIB rep told me that their banking services are available for a “minimum of 20 hours a day” , and that the system “by necessity is currently unavailable during off-peak times to facilitate systems updating”.
I guess that’s why it’s not called “24 Hour Online” anymore!

The main site seems to be dead and redirects to http://backup.aibgroup.com/
https://internetbanking.aib.ie/ seems to be up and working.
Ah right, I was going straight to a bookmark for the login for the online banking side of things – https://internetbanking.aib.ie/hb1/roi/presign.jsp for login
I had the same problem this morning. Not the first time its happened though so not shocking. They usually have it back running within a couple of hours though 🙂

They’re usually very good.. Just annoying as I wanted to check a couple of transactions on my personal account this morning and we couldn’t check the company accounts until late morning either
