One of the more common complaints that I see is about irrelevant ads on pages. When the pages are not on a blog the issue tends to right itself quickly enough, but blogs are more problematic.

How does the adsense bot know what kind of ads to display?
A lot of the relevance and the clicks can be related to the actual advert’s positioning on the template.

Logic dictates that if the ads are not close enough to the content the relevancy will be lower, or, as I have seen, slower to update.
You know the scenario.. You post about a music group once or twice and all entries serve ads related to them regardless of their content
