Macbook Delivered All Activity Suspended

My Mac arrived about 15 minutes ago and boy is it shiny!
You’ll have to forgive me if I vanish for a while as :
– it’s really shiny
– I’ve got to go to a wedding
– did I mention it was shiny?

    I hope to have time tomorrow to start playing with my new toy and I will definitely be playing with it over the weekend.
    I’ll post my initial impressions once I have something to base them on – I can’t keep saying “it’s shiny” – even though it is
    Of course I am one of those oddballs who likes his ipod nano, but loves his iRiver.. so God only knows how I’ll find a Mac once the shiny factor wears off

  3. I got a MBPro about a year and a half ago – I just got a 24″ iMac delivered yesterday – you are on a slippery slope! Enjoy!
    Apparently Quicksilver from Blacktree is teh essential “missing” app – it’s like Launchy for PCs.

  7. Launchy (PC) and Quicksilver (Mac) are apps that let you launch programs faster – though quicksilver is a lot more powerful.
    For example, I have launcy on my PC. If I want to open notepad, I go “Alt+Space” to open launchy, then type “N” – notepad comes up. It’s a start menu replacement. http://www.launchy.net/
    Quicksilver is Launchy on crack, apparently. http://quicksilver.blacktree.com/
    Anyway enjoy… so shiny…

  12. Oh michele,
    Did you take the one with the shiny screen or the one without it ? If you have the one without pay attention not just to wipe your screen to clean it. You will probably remove the top layer and you dont want that.
