Thunderstruck Cover

There are some really talented musicians out there doing really interesting things. From time to time, however, you come across a cover version of a well known track that totally blows you out of the water. This is one such version:

AC/DC’s Thunderstruck is an iconic track, but I doubt they ever could have imagined anyone doing a version like this!

The instrument she’s playing is called a “guzheng” which is a “Chinese plucked zither”. I had to look that up! Zithers are a group of stringed instruments characterized by having their strings stretched across a flat body. The most distinctive feature of zither-type instruments is that their strings do not extend beyond the sounding box, unlike other string instruments like violins or guitars.

In any case playing such an amazing cover version using any instrument would be a challenge, but this one is something else!
