Taking A Break

I’m on holidays since yesterday evening!

I’ll be heading off to Montenegro on Monday for about 10 days. Unfortunately it’ll take me about two days to get there since the connections via Air France are pretty bad.

So Monday I fly Dublin to Paris.

Tuesday morning (early) I’ll do Paris to Belgrade and then late afternoon I do Belgrade to Tivat.

If everything goes according to plan, which it rarely does, then I should be in the hotel in Budva that evening.

I’m really looking forward to it. Montenegro is a gorgeous country and the weather forecast for the next couple of weeks there is a LOT better than the rubbish we’ll have to deal with here in Ireland.

Since Vodafone Ireland are incapable of giving me 3G roaming in Montenegro I’ll be “cut off” from the outside world once I land in Tivat – except when I’m on wifi networks. In some ways I find that incredibly frustrating, but in others I find it really pleasant.

So for the next couple of weeks if you really want to reach me in a hurry you’ll have to either phone me or text me. You can email me, but I won’t have access to email for most of the day.

What will I be doing?

Very little.
